- Veterans who suffer from injuries or illnesses as a result of their service in Operations Iraqi Freedom and/or Operations Enduring Freedom have first priority for Yoga Nidra services.
- Other combat Veterans are eligible for our iRest® Yoga Nidra classes on a space as available basis.

- You may ask your health care provider to put in a consult to our WRIISC Integrative Healthcare and Wellness (IHW) Program for services. You will be required to attend an orientation session before starting this program.

- Our experienced iRest® Yoga Nidra therapist offers Yoga Classes to combat Veterans who are experiencing deployment- related health concerns.
- Our iRest® Yoga Nidra therapist uses her Yoga Nidra and educational training to teach combat Veterans Yoga Nidra techniques that may be used to improve health symptoms and enhance overall quality of life.
- Our classes are based on the iRest®Yoga Nidra concept which uses meditation to assist the body in healing itself.
- Our iRest® Yoga Nidra is in a group setting where Veterans are seated during the practice. This practice is not a movement based yoga and is therefore appropriate for Veterans of any physical ability.

- Our Yoga classes are currently held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- The schedule may vary so please call the DC WRIISC Administrative Office at (202) 745-8249 to confirm. IMPORTANT: Veterans who participate in iRest® Yoga Nidra sessions will be required to attend an orientation session prior to their first session.
