E-Consults
WRIISC E-Consults consist of a medical record review by an interdisciplinary team evaluating the post-deployment health concerns listed on the WRIISC consult and identified by WRIISC team expert review. The WRIISC team supports the referring healthcare team by providing an E-Consult report that summarizes recommended next steps for the identified Veteran post-deployment health concerns and provides resources for additional information. These recommendations may include additional in-person care through the Veteran's local VA medical facility and are written in a clinical consult note attached to the Inter-facility WRIISC consult in CPRS. WRIISC recommendations also may include additional WRIISC clinical services like virtual or in-person comprehensive interdisciplinary evaluations, environmental exposure assessments, and WRIISC integrative health programs.
